I don't see 02 as an option in '48. That could mean it was painted either the '47-02, Nightshade Blue, or the '49-02 color, Bahama Blue.
Hello, I have just bought a 1948 Model 76S. On the identification plate it says Color No. 02. But I can't seem to find it in 1948 color charts. Any ideas?

Thanks for your reply. Thats what I suspected too. Just find it strange that they would use a different year's color number on the identification plate.
At least until the '70s, it was common for people to get alternate colors for their cars. The assembly lines were happy to do alternate colors.
In '69 my Dad bought an Olds 442. My Mom liked the Daytona Yellow from the Camaro and so that was the color ordered. The next year it was offered on the 442.
