    1974 Buick Apollo

    Hi all
    New here just reading and looking for input I have a 74 apollo with a 455 and turbo 400 . We spent lots of time getting it in it the motor is out of 74 riviara I believe .

    the 74 is the last year before the heads went to absolute crap, so they are serviceable, although not the best.

    what have you done to the 455 as regards to rebuilding or upgrading?

    originally, this should have had a Chevy straight 6 or the Buick 350. if originally the small block, this would have been a good candidate for the Buick turbo 6 treatment as well. or even turbo-ing the 350.
