    wheel opening trim

    Looking for info in regards to the type 1 and type 2 mouldings. I have a 1967 Buick Special Deluxe,
    not sure witch one to buy.

    front wheel opening moldings

    The first type was a 3-pc molding, while second type was a 1-pc molding. Was not able to find a cutoff date or serial number of where the swap happened.

    Attached are some pages from the '72 Buick Master Chassis Parts Catalog showing the two types. A few items were apparently discontinued by then according to the parts list. But the part numbers still show up in the exploded views.

    The rear wheel opening moldings show to only have one version.
