Welcome from Chris who also has a 65 Riviera with Dual Quads (Gran Sport)!
You can have a dual quad LX engine without it being a Gran Sport. Read all about here:

It is very likely that you have one of the 454 Riviera's built with the A-8 engine option (Dual Quad 425) but not the A-9 option (Gran Sport).
In 1965 Buick built 34,586 Riviera's, of these: 28,467 were equipped with the standard 401 ci engine (LT), 2,311 with the optional 425 ci (LW) and 3,808 with the Super Wildcat 425 dual 4 bbl (LX). There were 3,354 Gran Sports built in 65. The remaining 454 dual four engines were installed in standard Riviera's as an A-8 engine option.
The "330" after the LX is a coding system used by Buick to track of when during the production year the engine was produced.
Thanks, Chris
Assorted Buicks!
