Color code exterior and interior ID

    Hi all.

I am hoping that an expert inhere can help me on this subject.

My Buick Riviera from 1968 has the two WW colorcodes on the cowlplate which ID's as the Silver Beige.
The interior is a white kinda color with both fabric and leather on the seats. Now my question is:

If I want to change the exteriorcolor of my car, which colors did it originally come with, with that exact interior I have in? I know that the people who designed the cars made a lot of effort in finding colors that sort og matched from interior and exterior. I was thinking about painting it red with white top... but if the car never came in that color with the interior I have then I have to find a color that did.
Another question. Is there anywhere I can buy pieces of the fabric pictured? There is a small scratch or tear at the top front seat that I would like to repair.
I want to keep it as close to the original as possible since nothing has ever been replaced or taken out... the car still sits as it did when it was manufactured. Thank you kindly for reading. Hammertime

The only light-colored Riviera interior using cloth was trim #684. It was a Custom-level Strato Bench seat using cloth and vinyl. No leather was available on '68 Buicks except possibly by special order. Color was Champagne (or gold). It would be a good idea to check the body data plate to confirm Trim 684. See attached scan of the sales brochure.

Two-tone paint was not offered on the '68 Riviera. The Champagne interior could be ordered with Maroon Metallic paint code N but not with Scarlet Red code R. See attached 1968 Buick Colors brochure giving all 8 available paint codes for a Champagne interior.

As with leather, unacceptable paint/trim combinations were probably available on special order. The danger was a car with an unusual color scheme would be very hard to sell off a dealer's lot.

SMS Auto Fabrics in Oregon would be the best source for the fabric.
