Hi there
I am searching for the weatherstrip for the rear quarter window frame for my 1957 Buick Century Riviera 4 door hardtop series 63.
It's the vertical seal between the front side window and the rear quarter window.
So far I have had no luck searching the web and asking the big players in rubber & seal products. It appears that nobody re-produces that particular item for the 4 door HT
Can anyone give me some advice where to look - or if a part from another vehicle might fit.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Cheers.

I think what you are looking for are the Rear Door Window Frame Weatherstrips, GM part nos 4699771 right / 4699772 left. See attached scans from the Buick master body parts book of 1963. The Buick Farm shows 3 of the right strip in stock. A place called Collectors Auto Supply includes them in their list--call for quote.
These were one-year-only parts. Also used on Century and Special hardtop wagons and Special 4-dr HT. 1957 Oldsmobile 4-door hardtops and hardtop wagons used them as well. GM discontinued them in March, 1974.
Steele Rubber Products shows these strips available for the 57 Super and Roadmaster 4dr Hardtops under numbers 4699773 / 4699774. They have given me good service in the past and may be able to advise if these can be modified/spliced to work on the Century.
This is data was found by Googling the part numbers. Such items could show up on eBay some day in an assortment of car parts. Good luck in your search.

Thanks a lot for the tips.
Both Buick Farm and Collectors Auto Supply only had the right side, so I purchased 2 of those.
At my first glance it would appear that the one for the right side might be used on the left as will; I will test that - unless I manage to chase up the proper left side as well.
