69 gs 400 oil pump cover

Hello. It's been a while since I've been here. I have a 69 GS 400. I am trying to find an oil pump cover. I could not find the part number. The G.M. dealer says the cover is no longer listed. The question is, does anyone know where I can get one and is the cover on the 400, the same as the cover on the 430 and the 455. Thank You

The oil pump covers are the same, but if you haven't lost yours, all they need is manual lapping to clean them up if that is the concern.

Place a piece of fine emery or wet sand paper on a piece of glass, run varsol over it (it's great if you have a pump). Hold the paper with one hand, take the cover with the other and make rub it in a circular motion on the paper. Give the cover a little rotation each turn.

If needed, GM part number is 1382725.
