Looking for a 1956 Buick Special Gearbox

Can't seem to find a good one that isn't so expensive, any help would mean a lot thanks

Sorry to say you'll be hard pressed to find something that's 60+ yrs. old that's a KNOWN good piece & get it on the cheap. The ONLY way that will happen is if someone is THROWING away parts & doesn't know the value a a six bolt top cover trans.

I have a rebuilder for a 1956 Buick Special Gear Box -- but I am in New York -- you indicate that you are in Santa Ana, Calif. -- the shipping will add handsomely to an
already expensive R & R (Rebuild & Return)...... If you need, you are welcome to call me.....

As far as the person who asks for a Clutch Set Up -- depending on the car, might be able to provide NEW for You......

Both of you are welcome to call me -- Craig, Mobile Parts, 516 - 485 - 1935...... Long Island, New York...............

Newbie posted asking for help and then disappeared for 2 months after first post on forum. What was the point? He never even addressed whether it was a steering box or transmission.
