i am buying a 1940 Buick engine to play with in my garage and want some information on it.. maybe install it in a Chevy truck or something. any help on this engine will be greatly appreciated.

Do you want an open or enclosed drive shaft? Look into transmissions that will bolt to that engine.
in 1940, Buick had two Straight 8s, a 320ci and a 248ci. do you know which one you have?

I have no idea what size the engine is or the year it is. I am not sure about the drive shaft options. I am guessing that i will find out when I get there. Thanks for any help out there. I am looking for more engine numbers.
