Going by the shop manual, there doesn't appear to be anything unusual going on here. Camshaft appears to be held in position by timing chain cover and block.
Hey everyone. I'm down to a bare block. Can't seem to get the cam out. What retains it in the block? I tried sliding it out forward but it only seems to travel a maybe 1/4" at most and stops dead like something is holding it in the back. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
