Hello good people. I have recently become the owner of a 1948 Buick Super, But I cannt find a VIN decoder for this year. The Vin number only has 8 digits and not even Buick can help. Any Suggestions?
The Identification number reads 14850436. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
The 1 prefix indicates car was built at Flint, MI. The other 7 digits indicate the car serial number.
Beginning number that year was 4801266 with a total Buick production of about 215,000. So your car was built about 1/4 way into the run.
