    Time to wake up behemoth

1946 super i8 motor is free and pulled/rebuilt starter all pimped and pretty.
any suggestions or tips on jumping my starter without keys?
I'm gravity feeding fuel once I hear her run ill replace all lines and redo tank.
also my auto choke was removed and rigged with manual choke (looks like dog ****) anyone know where or why this was done?

First you will need a DC volt meter (use 20 volt range)
    A) do you have 12 volts at the starter solenoid, if not replace pos. battery cable
    B) run a jumper from pos. battery post to dist.
    C) temporarily jump from small term on solenoid to positive 12 volts and starter will turn over

    Hope this help
