    Newbie from New Jersey

Picked up a cherry 2002 Century Custom with 76K miles. The owner treated it like a family member. Unfortunately GM was asleep this model year as it suffers from <numerous> inherent problems. Anyone know this specific model year well(mechanic or not/3.1V6)? I am a mechanic but I need some serious help you guys !!

sorry, but the GM 3.1L is a 60 degree v6 and not based on any Buick engine design.

the Regal from that period was equipped with the Series II 3.8L v6 which is a 90 degree design based on the Buick small block from back in the 1960s. we could help a LITTLE with that.

i would assume trading the Century in for a Regal would be less involved than an engine swap ... although a supercharged Century would probably catch a lot of people off guard!
