Power Steering hoses For 1973 Riviera

Need both power steering hoses for my '73 Riviera. Will buy the steering pump also, if complete with hoses, but just need the hoses.

you can't get these from Napa?

even if they don't stock them, there are a lot of stores that will fabricate hose from scratch for you. it will be quite simple if you've got the old hoses for them to use as patterns.

if you live near a decent sized town ( my town is ~250,000 and i know of at least four different places doing it ) there will be construction service guys who go out to job sites and manufacture hose on site for things like excavators.


remember, steering isn't anything but hydraulic and "steering fluid" is just hydraulic oil.


unless you're trying to make this a "numbers matching" car for competition show purposes, hose should be extremely simple to get.

Thanks for the feedback, Bob. I should have written: 'hoses complete with CONNECTORS'. I don't know where to buy the connectors or who could crimp them on new hose- tried NAPA years ago. I will buy new or used complete hoses with connectors or the steering pump complete with hoses and connectors. Any ideas?

these guys are in Fort Wayne Indiana and can do almost anything.
