all Buick production big blocks are 2 bolt mains. i think this is true of the small block Buicks as well. the only 4 bolt main blocks i can think of ( not including Rover production, as every 4.6L is a cross bolted design ) would be the v6 racing blocks from the 1980s.
there are a couple of 4 bolt main blocks in the big block Buick family BUT they were all experimental designs and certainly total production of those 4 bolt main blocks ran to a total of LESS THAN 10 blocks total, ever produced.
