    Swedish newbie with a 1949 Roadmaster sedanet

    Hi!

    New to Buick to, recently bougth a 49 Roadmaster sedanet with a manual transmission and as i discoverd yesterday a 248 engine. It has been rebuilt a long time agoe.
    I live in teh south of sweden.

    A Roadmaster should have a 320 cubic inch engine. The Special and Super had 248 ci engines.

    There is a length difference of about 75mm/3inches in the 248 ci vs 320 ci
    They cannot be swapped.
    A 49 Roadmaster sedanet with a manual transmission is unusual, but very good. Most have Dynaflow auto

    I think he knows that it should be a 320. he was let down when he realized it was a 248.
