    1950 Shock links

Anyone know how to break the rear shock links to the frame out? I have tried with a pickle fork and get them loose. Thanks for any help.

Mine gave me trouble on my 51 Buick as well. I ended up using a propane torch and a pickle fork, but by the time they came out they were too mangled to be used again and I replaced them. Heating the frame around the links with a torch should do it though. I'm sure you know, but they're held on by a nut on the other side of the frame, make sure thats off too.
