    Buick powered Chainsaw!

I am probably the last one to learn about this:

That is a Buick 215 (1963-64) V8 pumping out 300hp. Built by Robert Andrews of Enumclawn, WA. this two man saw can make fast work of your fire wood. It is able to cut a 30 inch log in .88 second with a chainspeed of ?!?!? well over 200 mph!. Seen in Engine Builder Magazine.

Here it is in action on youtube

Why mess with a HomeLite when you can have a Buick

Might be a little loud, can two men handle the torque of the engine revving, keeping the chain in the wood?

    nope.

fortunately, with a <3sec cut time, by the time they lose control of it they're already through the log.

weird. i was positive this had been posted on the board previously. people on youtube often mistake it for a Nailhead due to the shape of the valve covers.
