According to Buick Engine Identification, by the numbers in the Reference section it should be a 1938 60 series engine. 1938 numbers start at 6-3396937.

This engine can't be identified by the serial number only, you will need to provide some pictures or measurements. The engine number can be decoded two ways depending on the year:
1941 and earlier with series digit on the left:
63726894
6 = Series 60/Century, making it a 320 I8 which would be too long to fit into a Super
3726894 = sequential number, range for 1939 was 3,576,652 to 3,755,912
1942 and later with series digit on the right:
63726894
6372689 = sequential number, range for 1951 was 6,240,100 to 6,646,229
4 = Series 40/Special, making it a 263 I8
The 320 is about 6 inches longer than the 248/263.
