    39 Century headlight switch

Hi gang! I have the wiring diagram for the headlights showing the connections to the switch. The connection "Ring Out" with ohm meter but lose power from dimmer switch with light switch activated. The way it (supposed to) works is power from dimmer switch goes directly to the right headlight and the switch. From the switch it crosses over to the left headlight. My problem is loss of voltage through the switch to the left headlight. I ran a jumper from the right headlight to the left so I can drive at night. The question is, has anyone disassembled and subsequently repaired one of these headlight switches? On the other hand, does anyone have a replacement switch?

I can supply the wiring diagram if anyone is interested.

    Thanks, William

20-30 years ago, I took my high beam switch apart and cleaned it. This was in a '52 Super. It wasn't hard at all. Just needed to clean up the contacts.

Thanks. I'll take the headlight switch apart and try to clean the contacts.
