I think any stand rated at 1000 pounds wound do. The 364 is somewhere between 600 and 700 pounds fully dressed.

Can anyone recommend a good engine stand for a 364 nailhead coming out of a 1957 Buick special?

I like the two leg stands. I weld a piece of angle iron on the front, another one in the middle and at the rear and put a board on them to carry many of the parts. during disassembly, put a shallow tupperware container on it to catch fluids (about 16"x30"x8"H).

Also, there are stands with fold up legs if you are space limited in the garage. That is what I have and it has had four Nailheads and a 455 on it so far. Bob, is that a Ch... engine on your stand?
