Hi guys, looking for a bit of advice.
I have '66 Lesabre with the switch-pitch auto, when I got the car the wiring was butchered, so I'm trying to fix/replace what I can, and I'm unsure as to which is the correct backup / neutral switch to get.
I've posted some pics (hope they work), firstly, the column where the switch mounts. Next is a black switch and this is what comes up when I do a search. There is also a pic of a silver switch, that came up on an ebay search.
Neither the black or the silver switch look to be the right one when you look at where it has to go on the column.
Does anyone have a photo of the correct switch, so I can at least see what I should be looking for?
Thanks. Mark

Thanks Bob,
Looking at the first wiring diagram, that looks like the black switch is the correct one to use, but in saying that... it still doesn't look correct in regards to the piece sticking up out of the column???
The black switch has a plastic bit that goes into the column, my '68 Pontiac uses that kind of switch, but when I tried it on the Buick, it won't fit.
I need a switch that operates by that bit on the column.
Still no closer to working it out.
