    New '70 Buick Skylark owner

Hey guys. I bought a '70 Skylark 4dr yesterday that sat under a pole barn since '93. It's a 350 - TH350. Planning on getting it motivating and cleaned up. Do some engine mods and other plans. Maybe a sleeper.

Fun! I wish I had my 72 4door back. It was a nice cruiser.
    Enjoy it!

Thanks. I'm going to do a few mods like dual exhaust and four barrel carb. 15' wheels with do disc caps. Clean it up and get the mechanics in order.

If you need a Quadrajet, let me know. I have them!

I have a 71 (2dr convert) with the same 350 and THM300.. likely you have the 2.54 gears.. she won't ever be a screamer but a fun cruiser! Unless you go 4 spd trans and a new rear end gear, go stylish and elegant. If you go from 14 to 15 tires, that will even lower your gear ratio... but she will look great. Send some pics.

I'm planning on 3:42 gears in the future. A 4sp would be nice. I like odd combinations like four speed four doors and wagons. I had a '70 Cutlass "S" Coupe years ago with a 250 inline 6 and 3 on the tree. Manual brakes and steering.

be sure to check out the article on porting the 350 heads.

TAPerformance.com has aluminum 350 heads coming but they aren't ready for shipping yet.
