1957 Buick Super 2 dr HT Engine swap

Not sure if this is where to post this question, but here it goes. I have 57 Buick with no engine in it right now. have 364 engine and trans, and a 401 engine & trans & a 430 engine also. Someone put a later model rear end in it with 5 link suspension. I'm leaning toward putting the 430 in it. Has anyone done this swap? Any hints to save some time fishing my way through this would help ! Thanks

I believe this is a bolt in deal, at least on the engine side. The 364 / 401 / 425 share the same motor mounts and exhaust manifolds. I see this post is from June, did you ever give it a try?

These cars overall are on the easier side for motor swaps. plenty of room to work with.

he's talking about putting the 430ci in though, that's a big block not a Nailhead. everything on that should be different from the Nailheads.
