    Radiator question

So the hose in this picture on my radiator came off this weekend. I have been told epoxy or a clip would fix it. I also have been told I am missing a nipple. Any thoughts on how to fix it?

    Thanks!

they're right, the nipple broke off. the remains of it should still be inside the hose, you should need to take the clamps off in order to get it out.

as to repair, all that is is the line to the overflow bottle so it doesn't really need to have much diameter. so long as the cooling system can pull fluid back down it's all good.

so i'd be looking at sleeving a copper tube into that hole in the radiator neck and then epoxying it in place. may as well put a new rubber hose on there while you're at it and a new radiator cap. all of that stuff is pretty cheap.

radiator shop should also be able to fix it pretty easy if you're not comfortable taking care of it..
