'62 Invicta - where to find an adjustable panhard?

I have a '62 Invicta whose body is off center a little, causing one of my rear wheels to rub intermittently. A custom shop advised me to get an adjustable panhard to correct it. They can custom fab one for around $500, I'm hoping I can find one for less - there's a guy selling one for a '62 Impala for under $100 on ebay, for example.

Any advice is welcome. Are there options besides custom fab? Thanks!

Make your own for much less than $500.00. Use your original ends. Find the I.D. of those then get some threaded rod. One end would have to be reverse threads, but that shouldn't be too difficult to re-thread.

it shouldn't be difficult to re-thread ... but wouldn't re-threading involve stripping the old threads off and then using a thread die on the newer, SMALLER diameter?

i would think that the better option would be to get a section of reverse threaded rod and then butt weld ( + sleeve? ) that to one end of the regular threaded rod.

of course, you're also going to need to source some female ends to receive the reverse thread rod.

you might want to look in a junk yard at some of these independent rear suspension cars. a lot of them have this kind of arrangement so you can have alignment adjustment. then all you have to do is sawzall / torch it off of the new model car and the weld the whole assembly into your Invicta.
