    vacumn assit for power brakes

Bought the car and lots of stuff is not hooked up. The vacuum hose attached to the power brake booster is abt 3/8 ID. The only location on the intake to pull (unported) vacuum is a much smaller nipple, abt 3/16, located on the left rear of manifold. My question, is this where you pull vacuum for the brake booster or does if pull from some other place.

There's a 3/8ths. pipe plug hole on the rear of the carb. An aluminum fitting installs in there. One side feeds the PCV valve with a nipple & a hose to the PCV. The other side has a brass fitting with a 3/8ths. pipe that leads to the booster, over the left valve cover, & connects with a piece of BOOSTER hose & a one way valve into the booster.

does that mean the vacuum for the interior controls and trans module pulls from the small nipple off the intake manifold

The trans. modulator hooks to the right rear of the carb. on the right rear corner via a brass fitting on the carb. with the modulator line screwing into the fitting on the carb. . The small nipple on the back of the manifold, about a 1/4" hose, feeds into the round, plastic ball type vacuum control canister on the right wheel well with a smaller hose feeding into the cars controls.
