I just recently bought a 1967 Skylark V-6 Thin-Pillar Coupe. It is an unrestored 34,500 mile original condition car. It is 1 of 894 made with the V-6 engine that year.

Those v6 cars often had a very nice rear end gear ratio. If it is a posi, you may have lucked out.
