Welcome aboard!!!!!
I just registered here. I have been part of the Buick brethren for only a short time now.
I currently live in New Zealand, but grew up in Texas. While I was back visiting family, I bought a 1967 GS-400 4 Speed, Factory A/C car to restore.
I imported the car over here and it has been "down under" for about 2 months.
Before the car left Texas, I had the diff rebuilt and I put in a new Eaton posi with 3.55 gears.
I have converted to front disc brakes and I am in the process of rebuilding the entire front end and steering.
All Moog problem solver parts, a quick ratio power steering conversion (from manual), BMR 2" lowering springs, UMI Performance shocks all the way around.
I am also working now on restoring the grille and headlight doors.
My GS (I call her Jane) sat under a car port since 1981 until I swept her south of the equator! Needless to say, there is a lot to do, but thankfully the car is relatively complete and rust free.
I have been active on V8Buick and decided that I should get to know more Buick lovers (fanatics) like me!

Hi there
I am just south of Auckland and have a 1960 Electa 2 door hardtop. Body is good but paint is very patina. Drives fantastic and have been out in it most weekends. Like all old things there is always something to tidy up or repair. Good luck with your GS.
Welcome KIWI... Ive got a pal up here that has an old boat with FE (iron) Ford motors and they call him KIWI PUSHROD (!) Is that '60 a RHD model? Would love to see some pics... Bill in TR

Hi
The car was purchased from California back in the late 90s. Was first registered for use on our roads in 1999 and was hardly used and travelled a couple thousand miles here. I have tried to attach photos
