    Fan & Pulley for 37 248

    Hi All
Must finish cooling system before first drive. Having trouble finding finding a fan & pulley, are there any other makes or models interchangeable?
    Thanks Dave

evildave, I am not sure, but believe any 248/263 fan and pulley [ you are talking the water pump pulley?] will work. And until you locate the correct one, look for an after market on. Available at most auto part's stores.

    Fan & pulley found

    THANKS for your reply's
You might know that when I bought the car it was in early stage of restoration, lots of parts in boxes and scattered in the garage and house. When I picked up the car we loaded everything in the Buick and my truck. Last Friday the previous owner called, FOUND ANOTHER BOX, fan included with a bunch of other stuff. I should have it all soon after Xmas. I'm hoping the pulley, tail lights & ID plate are included.
I was about to try fan & pulley off SBC, looked like it would fit. not sure about fan diameter..
The last few days were Working on brakes, Master and wheel cylinder kits and major cleanup. Had to use press to get pistons out of wheel cylinders. Only bleeding system left to do, then test.
Also found & used the SPELL CHECKER this post, VERY NICE.
    Thanks Dave
