The 300 4 bbl. intake is a one year (1965) ONLY part. Just about ANY 4 bbl. can be used with an adapter plate. Then all you need to do is figure out the linkage, easy, & how to hook up the down shift/switch pitch linkage, more difficult.
I have a 65' lark with the 300/310 wildcat and the factory 2 bbl rochester carb....it does have the super turbine 300 switch pitch trans.....looking to add a little more power...thought I could find a 4 bbl intake and carb setup from another 300 engine and just plug and play thing ??? or more involved than that ??? if anyone has any other ideas about it please chime in...
....not after a rebuild...300 runs good...just wanting to make it growl just a little more ....I have already converted to HEI....and electric fan and aluminum radiator(runs really cool)...so I was just leaning to put a 4bbl carb on it and dual exhaust to let some more air/fuel in.....

Tom is mostly right.
there's an OEM 4v alum intake from 1964 ... but it is designed to be used with the aluminum 1964 heads.
your heads are cast iron.
the problem with alum Buick intake on the cast iron heads is that the 1964 design has narrower cross section runners. this is not nearly so bad as the cast iron 4v intake ( wide runner ) on top of the alum heads ( reversion step at intake / head ), but it's not the greatest. the 64 runners are restrictive enough that many people prefer the cast iron intake+heads for making 300 power, in spite of the weight penalty.
another alternative is a 4v setup from the Buick 215ci ( 1961-63 ) or the Land Rover v8 ( 3.5L to 4.6L, 1966 to 2004 ). however, the original Buick small block, the 215, has a shorter deck than the 300. therefore, any intake for one of these engines would require you to fab up spacer plates to fit between the head and intake.

I had the 64 aluminum 4bbl intake on my 67 300 in HS. It was all I could find at the local junk yard and it was better then the 2bbl. The 65 4bbl would have been ideal, but, even in the late 70s, they were hard to find. The internet makes the search easier, but more expensive now.

yeah, you can come up with a 300ci 4 barrel ... but it might take some patience.
it might also be easier to get the whole engine, just for the intake.
use one of the 'all of Craigslist' searches and keep eBay handy.
