Question Hello Team Buick from Washington State

Needing some info on the Buick Regal Turbo cars. I am looking at an 1987 Buick Regal Limited with the 3.8 liter turbo with intercooler. The VIN (1g4gj1179hp430640) indicates the car is a Grand National, but the color is a Dark Blue Metallic with matching two tone velour interior. It does have the bucket seats, 4 speed automatic with consul. car has original paint and chrome bumpers with black grill. I understand all GN were Black with Black Trim. Can someone help me on this. It is coming up at Auction in a couple of days and all they know is it is from a bankruptcy and was driven in apparently running fine. Thanks for all your help.

There is a forum (www.turbobuick.com) where all they talk about is the Turbo Regal. Most of the people there have GN's and know a lot about them. Good luck at the auction.

Yes i did. Thanks to all. i am probably repeating this as i think i replied incorrectly before. Way to many people decided on bidding what i call "Stupid Money". They kept talking about it being a GN and as we know it wasn't. Don't know what it ultimately went for as i walked away. Was a decent car, but history was completely unknown. I went home and mowed leaves. I may be old and damaged, but I am not stupid.
