my 300 sb it screws in....cause I took those out and did away with heater hoses to clean up engine bay ...replace with plugs...

71 Buick Skylark, 350 w 4 barrell. Where the heater hose connects to the intake manifold is leaking. My question is the tube coming out of the manifold is it skrewed in, pressed in or is it part of the cast? Thanks for any help. The intake manifold is stock.

Screws in. It might be very difficult to remove. Use heat.
