Hello. I have a 1959 buick invicta 2 door hardtop. This car was originally delivered with triple turbine transmission. Before I bought the car last spring was the triple turbine gearbox overhauled at a workshop here in Norway. The problem then was that the gearbox would not go in reverse. And now the same problem come back in this summer. One must pull the lever into and out of reverse about 10 times if the car is warm. If the car is cold it goes in reverse at 1 trials usually. I wonder if there are any of you who have experience with these transmissions? Must gearbox out for another overhaul or it may be some valves hanging?
greeting Martin
