Need some reference

We are in the home stretch of restoring my 71 skylark GS and are trying the install the hood latch, problem is we can't figure how it mounts or if we are missing a part, so if any kind skylark owners out there could shed some light on this for us with pictures of how theres is mounted it be of great help.
