other engines in the SBB family include the 300 / 340 ( 1964-67 ), 350 ( 1968-82 ), Buick v6s of the 231, 3.8L and 4.1L ( up through 1985 for v-belts ) and Land Rover v8s up until 2004 ( although all of those from 1990 on will be serpentine ).
timing covers and the water pumps that go on those timing covers can be swapped back and forth on all those engines.
you just need to make sure that your water pump is the same depth and pulley offset as the new water pump.
worst case, you can pull an entire 'new to you' pulley setup and timing cover off of another engine.
