    Adapter

Pat, could you see how much your friend would want for the adapter, I'm sure a few guys on here would want one. I know I would.

    Thanks, Randy

Pat, thank you for the pictures. #1 shows a key way. What is it keyed to? Or does the "snout" just fit into the dampner?

    Thanks

    Ben,
I have only drawn the keyway on the adapter, it is not machined. I was thinking it may need a keyway that would fit on the crank (same slot in the crank) but I don't think it is necessary at this time because the reliefs on the bottom of the adapter stop any rotation as they lock onto the dampner. The snout fits into the dampner. I hope that makes sense.

    Bruno,
I will talk to my friend and see how much he would charge to make the adapters.

    Thanks Jenz!

    Ben,
It's been crazy at work, little to no time for the project. Will be traveling for awhile so everything is on hold. Probably wont get back on the project till late fall, early winter. Not a good thing for the project but have to make it while I can. Thanks for the follow up and I will try and give updates if and when I can.

Well, I understand, Pat. I guess we will have to wait. Be careful, work hard, and prosper.
When you have time, I would be interested in what was done to your engine. Thinking of doing a "warmed up" 263 for my '50 Special.

    Ben
