Hi:

I recently got myself a 1947 Buick Roadmaster sedanette. The car has an older reasonably well done restoration, except for a conversion to 12 volts (which I am going to switch back to 6 volts), the upholstery seat material (leather was used, which I don't know if it was an available option or not) and the engine itself, which was not painted in the correct blue.

Question here is: Was leather ever an option on a 1947 Roadmaster?

I am not ready to change it as it is well made, but would sure feel better knowing if it could have been ordered originally with leather. I know in Cadillacs leather was generally an option, but have on idea about this particular Buick.

Thanks!
Victor
