My '67 GS400 hood sags. I bought this car last summer and think it may have the wrong hood springs on it. I contacted Original Parts Group to purchase the ones in their catalog only to find "uh, we realized that these may not fit your vehicle" or words to that effect. Does anyone know where I can find OEM spec'd springs? Is there someone who has a '67 GS400 with springs that work who can answer the following: number of coils? length of coil section? overall length? diameter of coils? end hooks offset 90-degrees? Thanks for any help you can provide.

A look at the parts book group 8.013 shows '63, to '67 using the same spring 1357359 in the skylark/GS series. I expect they would be the same as a Chevelle.
