Hello Everyone.
I am a Newbie.
I just got a 1949 Buick Super 50 Convertible.
I cannot figure out the carburetor on it as casting is not clear and top part is made by ford which means it is replace / Modified. It is leaking and causing startup delay. Please see attached pictures.
What carb should I buy, that will fit this car configuration. I would like to go with an original restored one.
BUICK 1949 Super 50 Convertable:
VIN: 15069306
Engine Casting: 53375615

When better Automobiles were built, Buick built Straight 8's
Buick Club of America and Buick Club of Australia
There is a Buick carburetor list in the "Reference Section".

Thanks guys.
I checked the reference, but there are two models suggested for the 1949 Buick Super 50 Convertible. The Carter or Stromberg. I live far away from the US, and once shipped it will be not feasible for me to exchange.
Thanks all.
