Canadian paint codes are not the same as US paint codes. For 1956-1959, the first digit of the paint code is the GM of Canada division (major divisions listed below), the second digit of the paint code is the paint job type (known paint job type codes are listed below), and the third and fourth digits indicate the paint job color combination:
GM of Canada divisions (1st digit):
1 = Chevrolet
2 = Pontiac
3 = Oldsmobile
4 = Buick
Paint job type codes (2nd digit):
0 = Solid color
2 = Two-tone
3 = Two-tone
4 = Two-tone
5 = Two-tone
6 = Two-tone
8 = Tri-tone (Buick only, 1956 only)
8 = Two-tone (1958, 1959)
So paint code 4010 decodes as:
4 = Buick
0 = solid color
10 = Tropical Turquoise (C-I-L Cilux 2331-1194, C-I-L Lacquer 2221-1203, Ditzler DQE-1207, Rinshed-Mason Per-Max 256V28D, Rinshed-Mason Lacquer 56V28)
Trim 432 = Black Cloth and Ivory Cordaveen, available on model 41, 43, 46R
