    Hi. I just bought my first buick. I have a piston ring question

    The engine came striped and clean. With nos parts and gaskets. I have built about 50 different engines I'm my time. I've never seen piston rings like this. It's the oil ring at the lowest groove. It has a double over lapping ring with a slight twist at the half way point. Does this go on the bottom or the top

    What engine?Nailhead?Hemi?I think you get a good answer from my Buickfriends allower.

    It's a 1950 straight 8 320
