Clean up the rust, then prime & paint. Then put in a vise & lube the $$$$ out of it to free it up. If you have the original cable it CAN be fabbed at one of MANY places. Do a Google search. I'm sure you'll come up with something.

My 52 Buick super 4 door has a locked up parking brake. The release handle is mangled and its pretty rusty. Are there any other years I could get a donor pedal from? I'm going to try and get this one unstuck and fix the release handle in the mean time. The guy i bought the car from cut the cable or it snapped so I need a new cable. Are there any places online I could get a new cable from also?
