Well I think what I found was the diagram of a 1957 and it looks different than mine.
Anybody have a manual for a 1955 that shows the torque ball assembly?
I have a 1955 Buick Special with a three speed manual transmission.
I just took out the transmission and put a new cutch in.
I have two problems.
I sealed the torque tube with new gaskets and sealer and it still leaks like crazy.
I also seemed to notice a vibration in my driveline when driving.
After searching everywhere on the web I found some information that showed where the driveshaft had to be put in certain way with holes lined up from the shaft to the torque tube.
I pulled it back apart and I don't see any holes anywhere.
Is there something I am missing?
I have not been able to locate a seal kit for the manual torque tube only the Dynaflow and I know they are not the same.
Any help would be appreciated before I put it back together.
Thanks

Yep that's what I have.
How do you keep it from leaking?
Thank you!
Anybody know if the torque tube seal kits are the same for the Dynaflow and the manual transmission? I see the kits on ebay for the Dynaflow but not the manual transmission. They look the same but I am not sure if they interchange. Tanks
The torque ball boots are the same, not sure about the rest, check this link out, http://www.classicbuicks.com/Rear_Seals_Kits.html cheers!
