Could be quite old. Someone can correct me, but if you look here:

it only goes back to 1935, but there is a pattern to the numbers and if you continue the pattern it could be from a 1928 90 series.

B = 364 nailhead V8 from 4400 series (LeSabre)
9 = automatic transmission
222332 = sequential number, range for 1959 is 211004 to approximately 222905, because the ending number isn't known for certain it might be either a late 1959 or early 1960 engine.
Post a picture of the engine and the serial number stamp if you can.
