Hi all, just found this site with the help of a friend,Thanks Allen,I got a 64 skylark that i have owned for a few years,Its got a 70 350 at present but hope to have a 455 in there by spring,Chicago weather not the best for working in the garage this time of year,Thanks Chris

but i'm asking about the 350 v8.
if it's the 'SP' code engine, that was no slouch for a small block. it was rated at 315hp / 410tq.
even so, you'll easily best those numbers with a built 455.
expect the 455 to weigh ~150lbs more than the 350. you may or may not want to get some stiffer springs in the front end.
