    53 Buick fuse block

My 53 Buick was converted over to a 12 volt system by the previous owner; however, the fuse box was not. Although I have no electrical problems, the current one is 60 years old. Since the wiring itself is all new I don't want to waste money on a whole wiring harness, I just want to upgrade the fuse box. Can anyone recommend one? The Painless ones listed below are expensive and overkill for my needs. I was looking for someone to suggest the fuse box off a 19XX Buick, Chevy or Ford is newer (not glass fuses) and suit my needs just fine.

I looked at the parts you referenced above and that is expensive. I just installed some additional circuits in my Landcruiser and I went to the local auto parts and bought two fuse panels that support 6 circuits each for less than $15. These are blade fuses. Google: Cole Hersee (they supply reliable electrical products.) They have fuse panels for glass fuses also.
