    215 casting code questions

So I have a 63 215 200hp engine. Only changes are carb/intake/cam/some gaskets. The casting code from the front of the engine is 3J2519779 JN651
I know the first digit ("3") means 4300 Series correct? This follows since the engine was originally from a 63 Skylark, but the code info I have never mentions the 4300 Series difference in the first digit.
I've only seen 0, 1, or 2 as the first digit for Special, Special Deluxe and Skylark, no mention of "3" as the first digit except here: http://www.teambuick.com/forums/cont...bers-1935-1964
Also from the link I can't see anything about the third digit being "2" only "1", is this significant or is it just a serial that starts at 1 and the next set would start at 2?
Or am I just over thinking all of this?
It's just the 3 in the first digit threw me off when I couldn't find any information supporting it except in the above link.

The link you reference is really only for decoding Canadian Buick serial number, your serial number uses the US format. The tables only show the starting (i.e., lowest possible) serial number and the lowest factory number (3rd digit of US format) is 1.
