I feel sorry for the workers using the acetylene torch and doing the gas welding with no eye protection. Your eyes have to last a life time. I spent a year in Afghanistan in the Army. We had Afghanistan contractors come and work on post facilities and they never had welding helmets only sun glasses. I was so proud of my men. They all brought their personal auto dark helmets from home with them. They all gave away their personal helmets to the local Afghanistan welders and used the cheep, heavy, awkward helmets provided by the Army. Everyone felt so sorry for those men wrecking their eyes, they could not afford a helmet.

All the workers are provided with all the safety gear.. Eye protection, safety gloves and foot wear, head gear, masks etc. They can not even be forced to used them. They simply will not comply. They claim that they can not work when clad with the gear.
Even painters refuse to wear masks when painting.

There gear is all imported from UK and there is a full stock available to all workers to use. They refuse to use them and it is their choice to work without the gear.

and i'd much prefer to live in a country like yours, were you can make your own choices than in the Pussified States of America where children are being required to wear helmets and pads to ride a bicycle.
