An extra 1 or -1 at the end of the paint code indicates that the optional wheel color was ordered. In this case, that would be Seminole Red.
Hi Guys and Gals,
I have looked at the reference section and have not been able to find an answer concerning the paint code on a '56 I am looking at.
The paint code has 4 letters: NCNI. From what I understand, this is Tahiti Coral/Dover White/Tahiti Coral, top, middle, bottom respectively.
I have not found a paint code for I, and am not sure if there is even a possibility for a fourth color.
Could this be a misplaced accessories code and actually be a 1 and not an I? Or something added after it left the factory?
I do not have a picture of the tag to post right now.
Any knowledge or guesses to what the extra letter (digit) may be?
Thanks,
KingImp
